About This Game Eximius is a Strategic Action Shooter (FPS/RTS Hybrid) that focuses on squad-based combat.Eximius combines tactical First Person Shooter gameplay with high level strategic decision-making of a Real-time Strategy(RTS) game. The game features a competitive 5v5 team battles where players square off in a post apocalyptic urban environment. Simply put, it's ♥♥♥♥ing sick. If you have ever played Nuclear Dawn or Natural Selection 2, you will be familiar with how this game works.This game is different in that it focuses more on the RTS aspect than the FPS aspect. That is not to say that the FPS aspect doesn't have plenty to do... The squad leaders will be VERY busy fighting. But by that I mean that there are a limited amount of squad leaders (human players) per team. The squad leaders are more powerful than the basic units generally, and have more abilities. What you end up with are knock down drag out fights between players and AI alike. It is insanely fun both as a squad leader and as a commander.I cannot recommend this game enough. Your friends who enjoy FPS will love it as the combat feels amazing, and the RTS lovers will very much enjoy the commanding aspect of it. The best part is that the game is built so that the commander can do administrative actions from ANYWHERE, meaning that the commander can also partake in the fighting, which is insane and awesome.Buy this game.. With constant Q&A and R&D is not easyIs not all sunny and smooth when you know is an early access, bugs and glitches will eventually be iron out. Hailing from Malaysia where most of the video games were produce are usually mobile games, browser games or outsource, but this is something different. Is the very 1st step, 1 giant leap in a milestone for Malaysians in video game development. With limited resources the team had and slightly more than a dozen of manpower staff, such flame of the passion for developers had in their dedication of making it happened.In addition, the Ai officer's and Ai opponent commander is a rare thing to see, not many video games out there you can find bots in offline and online in 2018. Yes they are in the infancy stage, eventually it will slowly mature and turn into a fully and highly competitive Ai to challlenge it.The gameplay mode are protect & destroy with some player's on each team have to venture out of their safety of the base defenses to capture strategic location where resource pool in a form of Cash ( primary ), Electricity ( secondary ) and Ammunation ( Tertiary ) supplies are the backbone of the economy.Players are require to constantly be on the vigilant and communicate with the commanders & officer are the vital aspect of this video game, you do not go in charging rambo style and hope to come out alive. Stay in a group, or you be picked off one by one.Both teams had a pool of 500 Victory points/score value ( similar to CoH1 & 2 ), where these flags must be captured to win, this style is to prevent the game draging on too long, also if enemy is pushing towards the doorstep you can see player's leaving the game. This focus the player to pour in resource and units to hold thise victory points location.I hope eventually we will get a single player or even better a coop campaign for EXIMIUS as the factions already can make a good setup of lore or universe story telling.You cannot compared to other triple A's title's, remember this is an indie studio, not a coporate giant. Is a rare gem, an unpolished one, but gems are valueble once they are polished. Until then, you won't regret it buying it now, as who knows later down the road the price may increase when the game is complete. It may not be a lot for 30 USD. Yes I may have received this product for free, I will continue to support them in community tester until they decide to pull the plug from me, I will purchase it.. Finally something different from ordinary FPS games. I really enjoy playing this game, hopefully more updates are on the way.
