It was a huge improvement on a game that was already great. It has all the charm of the orginal TAG, and then some. The adventure aspect is very satisfying, the art style is excellently polished, the story is exciting and touching, and the music acts as a perfect support for all these qualities.I tip my paper adventure hat to the developers.. This game used to be a big part of my childhood when it was still Treasure Adventure Game, just a freeware indie game I found on some website. And it's been a long wait for it to be reborn as the new, beautiful Treasure Adventure World. Am I satisified? Of course! It's not just a 1:1 remake, but a bunch of new content. I spend even more time searching crannies and diving under waves. And enough of the original content has been sifted just enough to keep it fresh, like bosses and what not. So if you have a love of pure, unadulterated adventure, exploration, and discovery, this is a perfect little game.Also, when is shark laser city DLC?. It was a lot of fun!. Very wholesome game would buy at full price again. I think this game can be best summarized by it's title. You hunt treasure. There is a world to explore. And the title is basic.Treasure adventure world doesn't do anything new or excite you, but it will never anger or annoy you either. It is a very simple experience in a large world. It's not a prime time game. It is, however, a very solid filler game when there is no other game to play. It's pacing is solid and it is lengthy, so when you're waiting for the next game to come around the corner give TAW a shot, it might just help you pass the time.. I really wish there was a so-so option. It was hard for me to get into it. It wasn't really bad or anything from what I played, just wasn't blown away or anything either. I was excited to play a game by the makers of Stardew Valley, this game just wasn't what I expected and just don't really see myself getting back to it. It is pretty fun, and the controls and art are ok and reminicent of games of old which can be a good thing. So far it has an uninteresting story though and pretty boring quests and characters so I really don't find myself wanting to keep playing. I am leaning toward not recommended for that reason. I may come back to it with fresh eyes and change my mind down the road. If that happens I'll try to remember to edit this.. wind waker meets 2Da not too difficult game with enough secrets to keep you going but not too many to be intimidating.I personally liked the story, although the primary motivation for me was to find every secret and get every upgrade..
